Camps are designed to be fun, safe and educational horse related experiences. Depending upon the age and skill level of the campers, activities may include, but are not limited to the following: riding lessons, bareback riding, games on horseback, grooming and care of the horse, care and use of the tack, riding demonstrations, horse related videos, crafts and non-mounted games. Campers should bring a lunch Monday thru Thursday. On Friday morning campers will have an opportunity to demonstrate their riding skills for parents in a special fun show. After the fun show, a pizza party will be provided for campers.
For safety, campers are required to wear hard-soled shoes with a heel of at least ½ inch, and not thicker than 1 ½. Hiking boots and tennis shoes are NOT acceptable, as they will get stuck in the stirrup. A protective helmet is also required. Headgear which meets or exceeds the quality standards of the SEI certified ASTM Standard F 1163 Equestrian Helmet is highly recommended. However, campers may use a safety bicycle helmet.
Due to limited availability we suggest making your reservation promptly to ensure enrollment. To enroll, please contact the barn office at your earliest opportunity.
