Welcome to North Coast Equestrian Park (NCEP).
We offer instruction in hunter seat equitation on your
horse or pony, or on ours. Our goal with our riding
programs is to produce safe, caring riders with a firm
understanding of basic equestrian skills.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited availability and overwhelming enrollment our current riding program for beginner riders is full. We are accepting names for our Lesson Program (age 8+) waitlist, which is currently 8-10 months long.  If you have previous hunter seat equitation experience, or have attended one of our Horse camps, contact our office to see if an evaluation lesson would be appropriate for you.

Is your child between the ages of 6 and 10? Check out our special Saturday Lesson : Pony Preschool for the young rider!

Ages
Eight years through adult.

Program Requirements
For safety, we require that students wear hard-soled boots with at least a 1/2 inch heel (riding boots are the best). No tennis shoes, riding sneakers, hiking boots or muckers will be allowed. You will also need to purchase a safety approved riding helmet that meets ASTM/SEI standards. Bicycle helmets will be permitted during the introduction plan only. The appropriate clothing includes long pants and a comfortable tee-shirt.

Program Schedules
Lessons are scheduled relative to riding ability and available groups. Beginners through advanced group lessons are held Monday through Friday & Saturday mornings. All  lessons are scheduled through the office.

Operating  Hours

The riding school conducts lessons Monday through Friday afternoons from 3-6 and Saturday mornings from 8:30 - 12:30.  Additionally, NCEP staff are available to offer additional assistance beginning at noon Tuesday through Friday.
